DISC-001 — On synthetic image, voice, and fictional performers
Every synthetic artefact on this site is produced with generative image and voice models. Where a face or voice resembles a character, it is a fictional production construct — not a recording of, and not a claim about, any real person. Junket "performers" share a character's face and voice by design: they are twin-figures reflecting on the role, and they never claim lived experience, employment, consent, discrimination, or authorship. Sensitive commentary — on menopause, ageing, dementia, grief — comes only from named human creators or cited research, never from a synthetic mouth speaking as authority.
Disclosure renders on every card, before playback, in the transcript,
and in metadata. It may be art-directed; it may never be only
art-directed. This is the long-form referent (DISC-001) for the short
disclosure lines carried in each artefact's synthetic block.
